Check PNR Status through Phone

To Check your Indian railway Ticket PNR status by SMS just follow the below steps

Method 1

#SMS “PNR ” to 58888 or 57886 or 5676747

Suppose your PNR number is 123-1234567, you need to type sms as PNR 1231234567 and need to send it at any one of above numbers. Don’t use hyphen and don’t leave PNR word. You will get status of your ticket withing 1-3 minute.

You can not get PNR status in night (11 pm to 4 AM). You only need to pay sms charge. Above method is applicable for all mobile service in India.

Method 2

Now the Indian Railways department has launched a new phone number for Inquiry, which is a completely free service and works all over India including small villages and towns. You just need to call ‘139′ from your BSNL landlines, MTNL landlines, Dolphin, Garuda, Idea, Spice Telecom and Vodaphone telecom operator enabled phones.
